Visit to Bandung

If asked to choose between traveling alone or use the tour , of course I would choose traveling alone . Why? Besides budgeted less , I also freer to explore a tourist destination without having to wait for another tour participant , free linger in places that I like without limited time , and vice versa , can directly go if you are in a place that I do not like . Unfortunately, on the occasion of my trip to Bandung last October , I was forced to join the tour , because of the visit itself is the special mission of the campus where I went to college ( yaya , I have not passed : - | ) . So like the saying goes , while diving to drink water , but a little . While MPAs while the streets , but just for a while ..


Departing from Semarang around 8 pm , we finally arrived in London before dawn . Mr. driver was frantically looking for the location of the guesthouse soldiers will be a place of transit for a shower and breakfast . The bus had stopped just in front of the building -like building satay . Friends busy arguing , I Just silence observed . Ah, if only I could get off the bus sebentar..tapi then the road again . Conclusion while , Bandung was gorgeous !

After doing enough activity make tired , finally time 've been waiting for came too ; get to the hotel ! Yes , a trip out of town for hours , ride the bus , behind the seat itself , the lack of hours of sleep , plus formal activities from morning until evening made ​​our bodies really missed a soft mattress ! Not only that, the journey to the hotel also indicates that formal action has been completed , and refreshingnya activities officially started ! Yaay !

Hotel Ibis Bandung

My hotel stay and entourage campus is located at Jl Gatot Subroto Bandung, or rather in the area of Trans Studio Bandung, a complex with The Trans Luxury hotel in the most luxurious claims throughout Indonesia and Southeast Asia (?) It, and also Trans studio Mall. Bandung own people call this area BSM, aka Bandung Super Mall. Just like the Ibis hotel in Semarang, Bandung This Ibis hotel building also 'economical' really. Only one building that rises up. Nevertheless, this hotel is very comfortable, and most importantly, the price is very affordable too! Suitable for a traveler bag like me ..:-D


Because the building is 'economical', then the rooms in it including kamarnyapun rather narrow. The bathroom shower apalagi..pokoknya Just enough for one person. (you know weve usually how many?:-D) That is, we usually these girls often really dress-do in the bathroom, while ngeringin hair (er at Ibis Bandung have her blow dryer, you know girls! * important *), while use of mascara, chatting as well as the mirror in the bathroom hotels usually wide. Important for me anyway room clean, no hot water plus water heater for making coffee. And Ibis Hotel Bandung has all the criteria. Bonus, Bandung City view from the heights visible from everywhere because a lot of glass in this hotel.


There are new things that I found at the hotel Ibis Bandung. One is the use of the hotel room key card, or the term hotel key card which was used to operate the elevator. Since I had first find any that like this, it's so Malem my room on the 17th floor, stray up to floor 22! Garanya I want to ride with my friend that his room on floor 22. I think all the cards can be used to go up to any floor, turns each card has been programmed to be able to ride but only to the floor where the rooms are card holders only. So when my friend can insert the card and press the button 22, I had pushed a button 17 alone because even panic can not be .. hahaha !! After gathering the courage, I finally managed to get off alone safely. Phew! I do this, take the elevator alone scared, especially if to the elevator jammed cell phone signal ilang and then I ran out of air trapped in it, then fainted and suffocated in the elevator ... okay, I think I was mostly watching soap operas.


With the use of RFID elevator control system, the guests who are not staying at the hotel certainly can not just go up to the top floor of the same unless they are picked up staying. Ooo..begitu ya ..


Another new thing I found was a coffee maker machine fitted breakfast ..:-D. As far as my experience in hotels, from the star to the star not, usually served coffee ready to drink. Would not want ya to drink it, whereas this time no choice, like coffee sachets that has been provided, or make your own from a sophisticated espresso machine. Whole coffee beans seen from inside the glass. Wah! I just make it yourself! More fresh! On a scale of 1-10, I love the value of 8 for hotel Ibis Bandung.

Trans Studio Bandung

Trans Studio This is the second after the Trans Studio Makassar. Which in Makassar I did not go in because it was too tired after a day of trekking in Bantimurung. Entrance tickets Trans Studio is around 100-150 thousand rupees. Hear-hear anyway if another holiday season, the queue can be up to 2 hours! Fortunately it was not the holiday season, so sepi..hehehe ..:-p

Oh yes, in Trans Studio Bandung is also a Yamaha Racing Coaster, the fastest roller coaster in the world that not only speeding forward, but also backward at the same speed. I who is less interested in riding begituan that make nausea and jejeritan, ended up bored alone. Plus my situation who do not feel fit, more tired and sleepy, made me finally just goes around all alone while observing than even my friend's new kayak ride the rides then instantly nauseous and dizzy until must back room. Which I think is exciting rides like Roaming (because who knows no mas Nico in it) and the like Niagara-because in Dufan (baseball know his name) instead it is being renovated. Well, I finally entered only science center. After that moment his mobile mall, and back to the room. The intention still want to go out into the street for a walk while looking stalls selling typical food Bandung, but ultimately not so because it was already heavy head. Pasar Baru Bandung

Final goal is Pasar Baru Bandung. The tour guide said that this market is a market that is building like a mall. We can find anything there. Ranging from clothes, trinkets, bags, shoes, mukena, and others, in a low price. Proximity to Bandung Train Station. And because our bus parking a bit far from the location, so we had to walk pretty far to get there.

Once in the new market area, I immediately thought of Pasar Johar in Semarang. The atmosphere is similar. But once you enter into it, I actually thought the same Butung market in Makassar. The difference is, this is more sejuk..hehehe New Market ..



Friends busy shopping, I as usual, busy watching. Gear from head to toe, it's all here. Complete goods, many variants, the price is cheap. No wonder that girl Bandung fashionable-fashionable yes, want to find clothes, shoes and bag models of any kind there!

If you do not miscount, in New Market have 4 floors. There is a kayak in a mall escalator, there is even a bank in it. There were selling fried and there are selling well around the drink. This place looks like it has been set for those who (like) linger shopping.

Oh yes, like a crowded market, you should be careful with what you take. You should still bring money only as needed, and more attention to the position of your bag. Travel to Bandung was over already. It was not really satisfied because only a few places to visit alone. Hopefully tomorrow is no more time for visiting Bandung yes .. regards peuyeum!
